Gifts for parents

I am really at a loss for what to get for my parents and FH's parents. Please help! Thanks!

Ok, so I guess this may be cultural, but I am from the Dominican Republic and I didn't know that we had to give parents gifts. Do we give them gifts because they are paying for the wedding? My FH and I are paying for our own wedding, and I wasn't planning of giving them gifts. I know you have to give the bridesmaids a gift because they helped with everything. Please clarify because I am a bit confused.

I think the parent's albums are a good idea. I may have to do that myself.

Yeah its typical to give the parents a gift of appreciation, for their emotional and financial support throughout the wedding process. Im deff doing cuff links for the dads, and FH wants to get my dad a personalized golf bag.. for FH mom I think maybe a nice piece of jewelry after she picks her dress so she can wear it on the day
