Does anyone know about giving out gifts to the readers????

How dis your proofs come out? Please post a few!!!

If you want to give them something, make it very small. It should be demure compared to the bridesmaids who help you out, throw a shower, invest in an outfit, shoes, bag etc.

I was just in a wedding where the readers went to the rehearsal dinner, but weren't given a gift. I'm curious to hear everyone's responses also!

it's a definie that the readers come to the rehearsal dinner, afterall they are a big part of your wedding. (to most people the mass is the most important.) personally i think readers should get a gift.

The one good thing I can say about East Wind was despite the strong negative feelings me and my FI had when we attended a wedding there, we spoke to the bride and groom after the wedding and they were absolutely thrilled with East Wind, and the food, service, etc.... (or at least said they were). So I guess that's all that really matters! Good luck to all you ladies who have booked there.

Our readers were invited to the rehearsal dinner and we ordered corsages for them for the wedding day.

They had BEAUTIFUL cakes and were lovely to deal with - they have you in for a little tasting with tea and a few slices of different cakes. We went with carrot cake cupcakes, but they had a wide variety of styles and flavors. Good luck!

Its a nice touch but I dont think its expected. I was a reader at my cousins Jan wedding and was surprised when she gave me a gift. It was a nice black cultured pearl necklace.

Any experience with this would be helpful.
