I want us to have a thread too!!

I am getting married there in August 2004 and always have questions about our place. of course they are always cheesy questions but why not a place for us to ask them!!

anyone ever had the cake or vienese there? or is any bride getting the vienese?

Giorgio's is having another Bridal showcase in January 2004. I just made reservations. I booked my wedding there recently and they told me about the one in Jan. Anyone else going? How was the last one?

My Dad and FIL's went and they had a great time. Its funny... my FSIL called me that night asking me if I ever heard of this thing called LIWeddings.com. I cracked up and told her that I've been on it since the day after we got engaged and I have nearly 400 posts!! Anyway, they said that the food was great and they liked the fashion show. They picked me up a bunch of stuff so I'll check it out when I come home for Christmas. I wanna hear more about it though, so if you went, please let me know how it was!

I have a question: the price per person that was given to you, did it include tax and gratuity? My parents are the ones that went and put the deposit down since we're in CA, and I can't tell if it says it or not on the receipt since its just a copy. Thanks!!

FINALLY, FH and I got to Giorgio's while we were home and it was beautiful!!! We are both very excited. We had lunch and the food was great.

Does anyone know if it gets really crowded with over 200 guests. We asked and we were told that they could fit nearly 300, but the room was set up for 130 or so and I just couldn't imagine another 10 tables!!

Is anyone going to the showcase on sunday? My mom, dad and sister are going in my place. Hopefully I'll get to one sometime!

when we went to look at it they were set up for 250 I think and it wasn't too crowded. do you know if they finished working on the outside, I know they were working on the waterfall but I don't know if they started on the gazebo - we are having our ceremony outside we went to the last showcase - we won't make it to this one - my FH wants to go skiing on the coldest weekend of the year

PS - the cake is done through Create-a-Cake (Benkerts) in Port Jeff, we have an appointment next Sunday - I'll let you know how it goes.

JENNCHRIS: I was thinking that it would be a little crowded, but they assured me that they could do 'magical things' with their rearranging. Good luck at Creat-a-Cake! I'm excited to know how it goes!!
