Girls, be happy for me!

Original post by prncssrachel

I'm still fat, but at least I am three pounds lighter! So I started doing WW about a week and a half ago, and I have been SO good about counting my points. I allow myself to eat everything that I want, only in moderation and it's worked. I am usually someone who likes to see my weight loss right away, but then I always find myself gaining it back easily, so I have finally given in to the slow and steady weight loss and I am so happy about it. So it may only be three pounds, but there's not one guilty feeling day in almost two weeks, and that's worth it's weight in gold

What's amazing to me about this diet is that I do not in any way feel I'm on a diet. It's more like portion control, which is what I need. Do I have some days where I don't do so great? Totally, but the next day, I'm back on track, and I ALWAYS figure out how many points I ate even on the not so great days so I am not disillusioned by anything. But for anyone who is looking to lose weight, definitely try WW. I don't even go to the meetings. I have the books and the points calculator and that's enough for me. I feel so relieved, I can't even tell you. It's like a huge weight off my shoulders, or,well, I guess a huge weight off my butt

Congrats, Rachel! A question: how do i get all the supplies- the books and points counter without going to meetings?

Well, you can do it like I did it and steal them from your mother who is too skinny to need them anyway! I'm not really sure. I guess if you go down and join WW, but don't actually go everyweek, then you could get them, too. I have the calculator thing for my points, but they have those sliders, too if you don't wnat to spend the money on the calculator.
