Are you planning on doing programs?

I dont know if I really want to do them for a 1/2 hr. ceremony .. Part of me says just do it, but I dont know.

I have been to weddings before where they didnt provide programs, and I didnt think anything of it.

I got married at our RH and I always said I wanted to do programs. I wanted to list the bridal party, write a thank you, and give some explanation to some of the different tradiations we incorrorpated into the ceremony (some Jewish, some Catholic).

I had so many weddings I was in besides mine it just got to be too much money and too much time. I actually ended up not doing them and no one really missed them. People would probably throw them out afterwards instead of keeping them if they wanted to since they would have to bring it into the reception with them since there in no break to go to your car.

FH and I will have them partially so everyone can see what's what, but also to have a place to acknowledge/introduce those closest to us who are a part of the day, such as our wedding party.

I actually found great blank ones that work with our colors at Jack's in the city (like $4 for 25) and will be printing them up at home at the date draws closer

Not doing programs.. Im getttin married in a church but its a 1/2 hour ceremony...

I am on the fence about this one also... I dont think its necessary for the quick ceremony we are having and they just get thrown away but I did want to shout out our parents and bridal party... but I would say most likely no bc I def dont want to pay for them and I'm really no DIY-er

I want them, but will see. I want themto be inthe form of a fan since it is an outdoors ceremony.

A girl n here made her own. I have t gather the patience to do it. Lol. Hopefully.

on the fence also, I think its a nice touch, but not necessary.

My friend is like SUPER SUPER creative and totally diy'er (me not so much) and she has offered to do them, my menus, my table numbers, favor tags and place cards for me. We'll see though..
