I thought I had finally decided on my photographer/videographer, however I Just found out that I would have to leave $3000 deposit at signing of the contract. The next payment would be due one month before the wedding and then a small payment due when proofs come in.
IS THIS NORMAL??? Thats a lot of money to hold a contract. If you don't mind posting (or FMing) can you tell me how much deposit your photographer/videographer is asking for??

We left 2,000 at the signing of the contract... $2000 is due on the wedding day and $2000 when we are picking up out proofs
