Girls ... my grandma died.

We have been expecting it for some time now. I just feel absolutely horrible for my dad - it's his mom - how is he going to be happy at wedding events? She's been sick for a while and this is the best thing for her and everyone - she is at peace - but my grandpa, aunt and dad are of course going to feel it the most and it makes me so upset that it has happened at what is supposed to be such a a happy time.

In between the phone calls with my mom, I spoke to my hair salon -- my hair stylist, who I've been seeing for over 10 years and know pretty well, has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Please pray for my family, that we are able to see the good in this (she's no longer in pain) ....

this may sound harsh, but still be excited and happy for your wedding. she would want that

So so so sorry to hear that! My grandpa was diagnosed with colon cancer (very rapidly progressed) and we just found out 3 weeks ago... we are praying he will make it to the wedding!

I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers!

Awww Jen I am so sorry to hear that. I lost my Pap in a very similar manner and I know its still hard even when reality tells you its for the best. We love you and will keep you and your family in our prayers

I know it's hard to lose a loved one, I lost my mom a few years ago and I still have that worry that my wedding will be a day people are sad rather than happy. I mean I know that it's going to be a really hard day for me, wishing she was there, but it's also a time to celebrate and enjoy the time we have with everyone else. I'm sure your family will feel the same way...especially since she's no longer in pain and in a better place!
