Girls ... my grandma died.

We have been expecting it for some time now. I just feel absolutely horrible for my dad - it's his mom - how is he going to be happy at wedding events? She's been sick for a while and this is the best thing for her and everyone - she is at peace - but my grandpa, aunt and dad are of course going to feel it the most and it makes me so upset that it has happened at what is supposed to be such a a happy time.

In between the phone calls with my mom, I spoke to my hair salon -- my hair stylist, who I've been seeing for over 10 years and know pretty well, has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Please pray for my family, that we are able to see the good in this (she's no longer in pain) ....

Awe Jenn....I'm so sorry! I know what you're going through-DH's grandma died about a month before the wedding. I will be thinking of your family. Please FM me if you need to talk.

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I lost my Grandma 6 years ago and I miss her everyday. As hard as it is, just remember the good times you all had with her.

I'm so sorry Jen. It will be a very tough time for you and your family. I hope though, that your wedding will be a 'pick me up' for a time when you and your family need it most. I'll be thinking and praying for you and your family.

omg jenn i am sooo sorry to hear that she has passed away!! my thoughts are with you and your family.

and just remember your grandma will be with you and your father on your wedding day!!

Thank you all The wake is tonight, the funeral is tomorrow, and then I have to get my hair highlighted, and then the RD - craziness and I feel a little bad doing wedding things... but i know I have to ... my aunt, her daughter who took care of her, is insisting no wedding events are interrupted ... my dad is doing ok, he is not one to really show emotion so I don't know for sure how he feels but it was coming for a while, he had time to prepare and for someone like him, that might have been good, you know? And my grandpa is doing surprisingly well too.
