There are a few other great places, but rightn ow I can't remember their names because, for us, Fishbone was the best.

Hey, jsut so you know its going to take you about 30-45 minutes by cab (if you are staying at the hotel strip) so make sure you call a cab way in advance.

Call the hotel you are staying at and have them make you a reservation. Make sure you tell them its for some special occasion...it will help you get a table closest to the water.
Check what time the sun is going to set and make the reservation for that time...maybe a bit earlier...order a bottle of wine and just sit back.
Just so you know, as it gets dark they light citronella candles, so if that smell bothers you, this might not be the best time to go.

El Gacho (steakhouse)
Madame Jenet (sp?) - this one was like continentalish..served everything from what I recall.
We also went to this French one in town, which was really good, but kind of expensive.

We stayed at the Hyatt and I thought all three of the restaurants in there were really good. I only remember one, Ruinas Del Mar. But, there was another one in there that serves Asian food/sushi..

We also went to The Lighthouse (Italian) food was ok. We went there more for the amazing view and sunset!!

We went in Sept. and didn't need to make reservations ahead of time. It was kind of dead during that time a year. Not sure how it is this time of year....

Have fun!! It's an amazing place!!

ETA - we made reservations when we were there, not here...

We stayed at the Hyatt and had dinner at:
Flying Fishbone
El Guacho
Sunset Grille (in the Radission)
Acqua Gril
Ruinas Del Mar (in the Hyatt)
Café Piccolo

We had reservations for every restaurant except for the Sunset Grille and I wish we would of. I would make reservations especially if you want a certain spot at each restaurant.

Papamiento I think the name is....they cook all their food on these stones. Its a little restaurant ...looks like right out of a little house and all the tables are poolside. Its really romantic and the food is great.

We were there 4 years ago and are going back in May...can't wait.

We loved Cuba's Cooking which is downtown. Also, we went to this place called Nos Kunuku. On Wed. nights they have an all you can eat buffet with a lot of local dishes and there is entertainment. It is cheap, great and provides you with a lot of the local flavor.

We had dinner at :

El Gaucho (1st and last night there...it;s THAT good )
Madame Jeanettes (very good and nice atmosphere - get table outside)
Flying Fishbone (beautiful view - table on the water but weren't overly impressed with the food (considering it was so far)
Aqua Grille (good)

Can't seem to remember the rest

By far we loved El Gaucho (MUST MAKE RESERVATIONS) the best with Madame Jeanettes at a close second

El Gaucho(if you like meat)

Le Dome(French Restaurant)

Ruinas Del Mar(at Hyatt)(You want to sit outside for this one. They have black swans there and they are really pretty to watch during dinner.)

The Japanese restaurant at the Hyatt as well. I forget the name of it.

Flying Fishbone(mkae reservations way early to get a table on the water and by this I mean before you go to Aruba.)

Have a blast !!!

Our favorite is Le Dome, we go there first and then again right before we leave! The food is amazing! We also like Cafe Japengo in the Hyatt for sushi, seared ahi. I wish we were in Aruba!!
