What color shoes are you having them wear? I was originally thinking silver but now I'm thinking they should get them dyed to match the dress. What do you think? Thanks

My bridesmaids wore red dresses...I went to DSW with a swatch of the dress and I found about 5 different affordable pairs they could choose from. I was nervous about dyable shoes because I heard they if it rained or snowed that the red dye would bleed.

My girls had long dresses and wore black shoes. I wanted them to be able to wear them again. Honestly, you could not even see their shoes.

my girls got their shoes dyed at sandys shoes in massapequa and they were a perfect match to the dress.....they looked soo nice!

I think red dresses look best with red shoes, so that's the only thing I am demanding from them. I don't care if they are dyeables, or 'off the rack' red shoes.
I don't feel bad about it at all bc their dresses were inexpensive.

Black, and the shoes don't match.
I didn't really care, so I left this up to my sister/MOH who has a better sense of these things. She felt that red shoes would look to 'hooker' (her words not mine). Anyway .. almost everyone owns a pair of black shoes so it was one less expense.

my girls are wearing a wine/plum color and wearing silver shoes... i also wanted them to be able to wear the shoes again. i'm giving them silver necklaces with garnets to match.

I wore black shoes, but I tried to convince my friend to tell us all to get shoes dyed. It was fine, though.
