Were you able to negotiate with them on price at all? and/or did they throw in anything extra for free?
Got a quote of $2900 for
Bride BOK (Callas and Roses) 2 MOH Bok (Calla lily) 5 Bouten. (Calla lily) 1 small mom bok (Calla lily) 1 Grandma Corsage 2 FG Baskets 6 Pew Bows 3 vases for escort card table 15 tall centerpieces (orchids and calla lillies)
Met with 2 other florists but like them the best even though they were a little more money.

i was able to negotiate with them, yes .... well, sort of.
they gave me a price and pretty much said they couldn't go any lower ... so i asked them to make the BM bouquets a bit smaller and they came down about $200

What do your centerpieces look like....I got quoted a similar price from Pedestals for all orchid centerpieces, but only 12, not 15.

The vase looks like a Pilsner glass. There will be white orchids floating in the bottom. The actually arrangement will have white calla lilies, white orchids, some other purple filler type flower and curly willow.

they are very pricey! i was able to talk them down about $200 by using all same size BM bo-ks. $3200.
yes, they decreased my quote by 400 bucks. I told them they were my favorite florist after viewing 11 others. I told them where i wanted to be in terms of price and was firm in sticking to high centerpieces. In the end, they agreed to everything i wanted.
Just remember to negotiate with EVERY vendor.... i have saved a 1000 bucks btw the florist and DJ!
