Re: GIRLS WHO ARE ALREADY MARRIED
I miss the wedding...not really the planning.
My wedding day gave me suhc high emotions...I wish I could relive it over and over. I have never felt so loved by everyone there and never gave so much love in my entire life.
So I get sad thinking about never having that feeling again but I relish all the memories and look forward to all that is still to come- Babies, Christenings, B-day parties, anniversaries ETC

Yes, I definitely felt sad for a while but as others have posted--afterwards you are MARRIED to the love of your life so what could be better than that? Coming on here helps too and now I am MOH for my sister (MattandTricia07) so I can still help plan!!!
Jean has been a big help!!! Love her!!! She also got me ready to plan my wedding!

Re: GIRLS WHO ARE ALREADY MARRIED
Are you kidding me? I'm so freaking happy to be over with it! It's so nice to not have to think about the wedding all the time now. I loved planning and didn't have a very stressful time with it, but it's still nice to be free from it. But everyone is different. I do find that I'm a little sad now because I have a friend getting married this July, and her shower and stuff is soon, and this time last year it was me. But I think it also helps I have a baby on the way, so I am preoccupied. Honestly, I'm so enjoying being married that I'm glad the planning is over.

Re: GIRLS WHO ARE ALREADY MARRIED
Well right after the wedding was over I wasn't depressed or even sad. It was later on, as some of my close friends were planning their weddings. I really wanted to help them. Then as I was struggling to find out what to do with my life I seriously thought and researched into wedding planning as a career. I posted a question in the Newlyweds boards about this. It turns out that my first passion is taking me to Florida. So the wedding planning might have to take the backburner for now. Maybe some day, I did enjoy every minute of it. If you are interested...check out Bridal Direct online. That was the way I was going to go.
Like some of the other newlyweds said, after the wedding there are things like planning a family, buying a house together, and enjoying life as a married couple to look foward to!

NOT AT ALL!!! I was so relieved that it was over (the planning part.) I truly felt my wedding day surpassed all of my dreams and I was happy to move on with our life together.

Re: GIRLS WHO ARE ALREADY MARRIED
I am enjoying my 'new' life with my DH that I honestly don't miss the wedding planning right now...Considering we were gone for 2 weeks after the wedding, this is my first week back to 'reality' & I am so busy doing all the post wedding things...
Just got my proofs so I am reliving my day all over again! I can honestly agree with leese...Once you see your wedding in action & know you planned every detail, you gain such satisifaction & know that you could not have planned it better!!!

Re: GIRLS WHO ARE ALREADY MARRIED
Sad, I was ecstatic when the planning was done and I could enjoy the fruits of my labor and go on with life.
