GIrls who are doing topless for Bpics please read!

Can I make a suggestion...you know a photographer OWNS those pics EVEN if you pay for them, you clicky, you owey (in NY state). It's called work for hire.

You decide to do topless, ask if they have an agreement paper to sign that they will never publish OR POST those on their website.

Girls, you can never be too careful.

ESP if you are a teacher or planning to be in politics, a lawyer, etc...

Just a word of advice. Not being mean...or a Ginger...

I was lucky enough to have a photog who signed that I had to approve any photos she wanted to use for advertising...that includes if I wanted them cropped!

I know...this is what makes me hesitant on B-pics entirely.

And just because someone signs something never means that they honor it. It only takes something to be published once for it to blow up...

Argh. Perhaps I should take a photography course or two and do them on my own.

I have already had this discussion with my photographer. We made up an agreement together. She is also going to delete the pictures totally after she makes up my disk/album.

In my contract, in states I own the rights to the pics and they cannot publish them. But its definitely something to tell other girls bc not everyone thinks to put something like that in a contract.

anyone using Jenerations Photography for b-pics? Do they have this clause in their contract?

This is really good advice, because I AM a lawyer and definitely do not need or want skimpy pictures of me going around the internet w/o my permission!!!
