Girls who are or were on coumadin...

I was just told 2 weeks ago I have a blood clot from surgery in my calf.

I was told I can stay on my pill. I am supposed to get my period this week. And nothing. I have checked on line and they said that it can be irregular or heavy. Just wondering what everyone else experiences on this medicine.

Coumadin is an anti-platelet. Therefore, there is a chance that when you get your period, it could be heavier. I would call your doctor and tell him that you are late. Sometimes medications can affect the strength of the OC's. Don't waste your time checking on line.....just call your doctor. HTH

I am waiting for my Dcotor to call....I called twice already.....was told he has not gotten to his messages yet...

Thanks I am trying not to freak but it is hard...
