Girls who are using/used pillar candles...
What did you use to put underneath them? I have about 300 pillar candles for the reception and now I'm looking for liners of some sort that won't cost a fortune.Thanks.

We used pillar candles and didnt use anything under them. They burn down the middle so there was no problem.

i've never used anything but maybe wax paper? i don't think it's as flamable as other things--or maybe a foil?

I've seen places use round mirrors underneath the candles - they are flat, circular and look just like mirrors and are not much bigger than the candle holder. They probably reflect the light well too.I bet you could find them at Michaels Arts and Crafts.

You could use the dish that comes on the bottom of the clay plant pots (they're sold seperately) and are very cheap. You could even spray paint them.

Re: Girls who are using/used pillar candles...
wow . . . 300? How are you displaying them? I know this might sound crazy, but if you can get clear tablecloths or drop cloths and cut them out to the shape of the base of your candle display, that might work
