Girls who had/will have their alterations . . . . . . . .

done at a place other than the place of purchase, can you PLEASE give me your recommendations? Even if you purchased your dress at the salon and you know that they will do alterations on outside gowns, please recommend them anyway. The salon where I purchased my gown wants to charge me $150 for just one point on a bustle and I'm not having it

i dont know if they do outside work at Totally You in Bellmore but My mother had an entire beaded dress rebeaded and it was done perfectly and not that expensive. Its worth the try

I had a BM dress done last year at Moda Alterations in Franklin Square. They are great to work with!

Try Burton's in Melville. I've heard their alterations are reasonable.

I'm probably going to go to Angels Bridals in East Islip. My mom got her dress there & the ladies there have been super nice. I just need to find out if they'll cap them for me. I don't want to spend a fortune...

Phyllis was definitely the woman I was planning on checking out, but then I heard that she's been really overwhelmed lately and I've become worried about using her

Phyllis was definitely the woman I was planning on checking out, but then I heard that she's been really overwhelmed lately and I've become worried about using her

Visit her during the week - the weekends she gets inundated with brides visiting her salon. During the week, she's much more calm!
