Ok i know that alcohol is not included (like food is), but on avg. what would you say the avg price for a drink is? I'm trying to avg things out here. Thanks for any help!!

i went on crown princess and the alcohol was decently priced. I would drink bacardi and diet coke and it was about $3.50 a drink, some beers and drinks were $4-5.

i feel like the more inexpensive a cruiseline is, the higher the price of drinks... would make plenty of sense right?

thats exactly what i was thinking when i read this thread. I know crown princess has higher prices to book than other cruiselines but i guess they make up for it with inexpensive drinks.

I Just went on a carnival cruise. A glass of wine was about $7-8 so we just bought bottles it was cheaper Other drinks were on average $7-8 though

I think they range anywhere 5-9 dollars from what I remember

Thanks for the tip! Never would have thought about bringing little bottles on excursions! I guess thats because my exersions usually are to Senior Frogs, Carlos N Charlies lol

like sometimes they will be 4-5 $ a drink...sometimes 10$ depends on what you like to drink :)

Drinks are a little pricey on the ships. I went on a 7 day cruise (carnival) & had a $1200 bill for me & fh. I almost fainted when I saw the total. lol. I would just monitor yourself b/c it didnt seem like we did that much drinking! You can check your tab with customer service though so you dont go out of control. I would deff sneak some liquor in though!

cruise out of PR and its actually encouraged!!! i kid you not... theres a duty free right before you board.... they tell you come right in... bring bags to put it all in.... slide it through the scanner (officials see it all but they dont care bc they dont work for the cruiseline so they let it go).... then before you get on the actual ship, theres a table set up to check your liquour.... no1 does... the person in charge of it looks bored out of their minds.... hahahaha we walked right on no prob.... and the stewards dont mind, they'll even make sure to fill your ice bucket !
