about how many of your guests called you and told you they got them? i only heard from like 5 people! is that weird? i don't think my family likes me very much.

noone really. i only found out a few people got them when i spoke to them after and they mentioned it in the conversation.

I wouldn't really expect any response....maybe from someone that didn't really know. I have a lot of out of town guest so i am using it more so they can plan that weekend and set up their hotel reservations.

NONE - that is why i was so angry after i did all that work and spent the cash it was worthless.
On the other hand a few family members did say they would keep them and thought it was lovely which was nice but i wanted serious feedback with these things and got nothing.

I saw some friends who told me they received the STD, but no one went out of their way to call or email me that they got it. And even though I sent them the link to our wedding website, no one left a message on the guestbook...kinda disappointed about that actually. Luckily, I didn't spend a lot on the postcards, so it's ok.

Maybe 3 or 4 people. BUT! In every family member / friend's house that I've been to since then, I've seen my STD stuck to the refrigerator! I love it!
Since you don't RSVP to a STD, people don't see the need to respond to them, and really, they don't have to. I know it's nice to be acknowledged for your effort, but you'll have your invites, shower, and wedding for all that!

i didnt hear much of anything too when i sent them out.. one house had it on the fridge and i saw it and was so excited and they didnt even know it was up there.. (someone else in the house opened it and put it up without sharing the news with the others)
i think we just are so excited and in wedding mode non stop its all we think about for everyone else its just this thing thats coming up in a few months..

a few signed my wedding website guest book, i got about 2 emails privately, another handfull of phone calls and some wrote in my christmas cards (sent STD beginning of DEC) that they had received them. I'd say around ten people total commented and I sent them to over 200!!
Lets hope we get better responses on the RSVP's

I have only heard from my close friends and relatives.. just because I see them often not because htey called to tell me they received them
