I was wondering this also! I'm gonna ask my BM what they usually do. If anything we'll do a runthrough somewhere of whos with who and then the dinner.

Not having a formal rehearsal. Maybe just ordering in some food at the house a couple of nights before and having everyone get together.

thats what i was just thinking. just so everyone knows who they walk with and where to stand afterwards.

FH is an architect and he drew up a floor plan to show everyone.

i hate the idea of going in without a practice run lol

nah...

but only cause 1) we dont live in L.I. so i dont wanna have the wedding party have to drive all the way to the hall for a 1/2hr. 2) it isnt a religious wedding so there isnt anything to reherse

we are gonna have everyone together for a pizza party before hand at our friends place tho

Yes, Fh and I will be having a rehearsal. We're not having an engagement party so we decided to definitely have a rehearsal dinner.

ETA: Deleted 'crashing'...thought I was on the 2011 or 2012 board for a second there...

We got married at our RH. We did a rehearsal dinner and went over the order or the entrances and so on. About 10 minutes before the ceremony though, our BM took my BP and DH (I stayed in the room with my bridal assistant) and did a quick actual rehearsal. It was so smooth, I was amazed!

We are not getting married at the RH but if we were I would still want to do a rehearsal/run through of how the ceremony would go. Just so everyone knows the setup of the ceremony space, when they walk, who they walk with and where they stand/sit afterward.

I was wondering this too, I'm assuming we can't because there will be a wedding at our RH the night before (Friday) so I'm thinking we might just do a dinner for immediate family, bridal party and OOT family?

That is good to know since I will be having my ceremony there as well.

We aren't having a rehearsal at the RH, but we are doing a mini run through at the RD spot so that everyone knows who their partner is and what our officiant is going to say!

We asked our BM and there is no rehearsal at the site before hand. We are having a RD so we might try a run through then just so that the BP knows what to do. There is a rehearsal at the RH about ten minutes before the actual ceremony but I don't really want to do it because I will be in my dress. I don't mind my FH seeing me in the dress before but I DO NOT want to practice getting married in it. lol

I am hoping our hall will let us do a run through on Friday (since the whole party will be here). If not, we will have to do a run through at some point in time that weekend! I went to a wedding that didnt have a run through, and the best man screwed up the crowns...it was hilarious as a guest, not so much for the groom and bride

honestly this is what i'm worried about...someone doing something off, or walking the wrong way or sitting in the wrong spot. i wouldn't let it ruin my bad but i don't want that person to feel bad about it either

We didn't have an actual rehearsal, but we did the RD. At the RD we went over what we were going to do the day of the wedding. Then, about 30 mins before the wedding the officiant told us everything we were supposed to do. Yay!!
