How the hell do you type? Mine just got a little bit long and I'm totally inept. Please share your secrets, b/c I'd love to have pretty nails, but I just can't work efficiently w/them!

I try to use just the 'fleshy' part of my fingers and let the nails go above the key.
I dont use the nail to type

its just something you get used to. I can type better without them, but its very rare that I dont have them... I think its the noise that gets annoying.

i wish i could share with you my wisdom, but when my nails first got long it took me a while to get the hang of typing with them.... but now it is a breeze...

me too -- i'm a biter and have been my whole life but ive gone abotu 6 weeks now and my nails are super long (for me). most fingers i use my fingertip an not my nail, but in typing this i realized that i do use my nails on some keys.
i dont know how long you are talking about but its not really a problem. they also dont make as much noise on my laptop keyboard which is what im using?

when i have tips, i actually use the tip to type. for me, when i use the fleshy part my tip always hits the key above the key i'm hitting. it takes getting used to, but eventually you get used to it.

I use my fingertips. I hate that now that I have them wrapped and I can't even pick up a coin or piece of paper!!!

I bite mine but have tried really hard not to bite and they are no long but you can see the white tip haha
i need to get my tips back on...maybe get gel tips because my fingers look ugly haha...

Omg i'm the worst biter. I have to get my nails done otherwise i'd have none. and i have lil midget hands/fingers, so I look gross with no nails

when i had fake nails i always just used the tips of my nails to type with ....you do make more noise then normal but it always worked for me

I have uv gels (I think they're also called permanent french) and it definitely took getting used to. I really don't have any good advice to give other than you will get used to them and not notice them as much. Although I love my nails, I don't let them get too long because I can't function. I have the girl cut them down every time and she always looks at me like I'm crazy!!

I'm used to having long nails so it doesn't bother me..sometimes I use my nails as a replacement for my fingers if my nails are really long
