Girls with puppies may identify with this

FH and I have 2 dogs...1 is a 5 month old puppy. She's basically our baby

Anyway...she hasn't 'done her business' in over a day and all day FH and I have been texting back and forth about whether or not the dog has pooped yet...is this what what my life has become? Worrying about a pooping dog

Unfortunately, yes. When she finally does the deed, I'm sure you guys are going to have a good long talk about the consistency of it.

We talk dog poop on occasion! Our 6 yr old 80 lb American Bulldog will only go for me...lucky me DH uses this as an excuse not to walk the dog

OMG FH and I actually tell each other ever day if our baby pooped or not. We have had the same problem, he has some tummy issues so every time we walk him we text about his poop, and if its an especially exciting or bad poop we call eachother

I can totally relate!!! I think it was just the other day that I noticed how much we talk about our dog pooping, how many times, etc. etc!!!! Glad to know were not the only ones!!!!

OMG YES!!! Welcome to your new life!!! Ever since we moved into the house Darwin's 'schedule' has been completely off. We'll be on the phone at work discussing whether or not he 'went' that morning.... So so sad.

omgggggggggg lol this is the 'prime topic' in my house right now too!!!!! except my situaition is a little different. We just got our maltese fixed, he's 4 (I know a little old to do it, but whatever) and he hasn't pooped in almost 5 days we took him to the vet and the doctor checked him and said he's perfectly fine and not constipated so we just have to wait...if he still hasn't pooped by wednesday the doctor wants us to take him back. I wouldn't really worry about your 1 day, last year when we took my dog to florida he didn't poop in 9 days.....samething happened the vet in florida said he was fine and then he actually ended up going right in the vets office....I guess he scared the crap outta him ............these dogs are a handful. lol.
