FH and I are going to italy for our honeymoon. We booked with globus tours and going for 14 days. Has anyone done any tours with Globus. Just curious... i am so excited... but not sure what type of excuresion are available and i have to wait 6 weeks before i get my itenerary in full from travel agent.
I booked a UK tour with Globus about 3 years ago and it was intense but alot of fun! It's kind of like you are always on the go which can be exhausting! And don't be late for the bus, they will seriously take off without you! We almost got left behind in some strange farmland because we had to use the bathroom! And when we finally hauled booty to get on the bus, we got the NASTIEST glares from everyone! Could have just been the people, could have been us! Regardless, the hotels are not top rate and neither is the food that is provided but again, could have been the fact that it was not American food, could have been us! I can only assume that things will be MUCH better for you in Italy! The best thing about these tours is that they take care of you from the minute you step off the plane! What could be better than that?! Have a great time!!
