Gloves?

Gloves?

Do any of you gals know whee I can get elbow length gloves for myself and my bridesmaids? We checked David's (where we got our dresses) and they don't make gloves in the color of our dresses. My MOH found a woman online who has my color, but not theirs. She also called the Wedding Center in Commack, and they claim they can 'get them in their color', but because it's a 'special order' they cannot return them if the color is wrong. What to do? Does anyone know of a place where we can go and get all three at once? A place where we can try and match the color before ordering? TIA!

Can you buy white ones and have them dyed to match, like shoes? Check with a shoe store, they might be able to help if they have a swatch from the dresses.

Unfortunately you can't dye them, because the dye would rub of on your skin. Especially if it rains...we asked.

really? why is this any different than shoes? stange.

Maybe you need to go with a complimentary color that is more readily available.

Buy white gloves and dye them at home using fabric dye - I have dyed garments before and there is no leaking of color onto my skin. I just dyed some pants this weekend because I no longer liked the color - you just have to rinse them well and wash separately 1-2 times.
