GMATS

i really have to buckle down and start studying.
i need to pass by the summer so i can get into the summer classes!

anyone recently take it?

the closest i got was taking the timed Kaplan practice exam. that was a few months back just for fun (since my company was going to pay for my MBA. i'm switching career directions to nursing now). OMG the test is so intense! GL with it!!!!!!

thanks girl. and my company iis paying 100% for my grad classes, thats why im in a rush to start. i know im going to have to take the fall '09 semester off, since i will be getting MARRIED and i want as much done as i possible can.

I took it last year. It was tough but I did alright. I studied with the Kaplan book and CD...I didn't take classes. I didn't bother practicing the written part b/c I wouldn't know how to grade myself and I was just to lazy. Make sure you practice the math ALOT b/c I found it pretty challenging (and I am usually pretty good at math).
And make sure you have your driver's licence when you take it....2 people weren't aloud to take it b/c they had a learner's permit/NYS Identification card...they are VERY strict.

well im going back to hofstra to get my MBA in IT (information technology), which used to be BCIS (business and computer information systems)

my friend is taking it this friday She took it a month ago and dint di as well as she hoped so she's retaking it. I forget which book she's using to stdy, but hse said the test was a lil hard.

Get in study mood. I took the class and never went to pursue my MBA. Good luck. Its a great incentive that your company is paying. I went out of pocket and was sure I was going to pursue. It was over $1,000 & tons of hours wasted.

awwe, im definitely excited to go foward with this a do it! i just wish i could start classes next week. i tend to freak out before big exams!

FH took it about 1 year ago..now hes doing an MBA @ Baruch. Math was easy for him...English was harder.

Engineers always find the english harder

Never took the GMATS, but I did take the LSATS. I took the Kaplan class and I have to admit, I don't think taking the class gave me any added edge.

You'll do fine...just don't freak yourself out over it!!!!
