OMG, what a long day. That was my yesterday. I worked til 5 pm and was at school from 5:30 - 9:00 got home after 10.

I HATE THE RAIN!!!! GO AWAY!!!!!!!

I know, I tried convincing FH that we should stay home today, I really want my bed & blanket!!!

WHERE ARE THE NYC (MIDTOWN) GIRLS???

I don't mean to put a damper on anyone's morning, as if the miserable weather isn't enough, but I just wanted to say 'PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!'

I saw a very disturbing and upsetting accident this morning (right before 9am) on Madison and 46th Street. A woman was apparantly hit by a yellow cab - either she was trying to scurry across the street AGAINST the light or whatever, but the cab didn't see her, and she FLEW - yes, flew in the air and landed in the middle of the street. She was being taken care of by FDNY and NYPD and the cab driver was being detained by NYPD (obviously) - she's a nasty mess but fortunately alive.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL! STOP CROSSING AGAINST THE LIGHT!!!!!!!!!! STOP RUNNING INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET B/C YOU'RE IN A RUSH!!!!!!! YOUR LIFE IS NOT WORTH BEING LATE!

PLEASE. I SEE THIS EVERYDAY, AND I DON'T WANT THIS HAPPENING TO ANYONE ELSE.

I was a little shaken up, but honestly, I'm okay. I'm now to the point of angry b/c I see people do this constantly, and there's no reason for it. Yes, pedestrians ALWAYS have the right of way, but it doesn't mean that it's SAFE.
