How much can we put you down for?
'How much are you planning on spending on ________?' - why do you care?! oh, my bad, are you looking to be our sponsor too?
and just for kicks, i think this should be added as well
'You're checking account has overdrafted because you spent too much on wedding things' - well, they didn't say that verbatim... and technically it only happened once and i've been pretty good eversince!

WYou are doing khaki suits instead of tuxes? Yes, its a Sunday wedding and we are trying to do a casual feel and don't think guys need to wear tuxes on Sunday at 3pm!
Why are you getting married in Long Island City? You live in Manhattan and are from LI--why not one of those locations? Because we like it

I agree. I hate when people ask me if I'm done planning? What??!!?! obviously you are unaware of how much I have to do. Ask me if I'm done after the wedding. (I should be almost done by then.LOL)
another thing I hate are people I haven't spoken to in years coming out of the wood works and saying 'So i hear you're getting married soon, if you need help with anything, let me know.' Just because you offer help doesn't mean I'll forget tthe 6 years you haven't spoken to me and invite you to the wedding.
and the last one...We are coming to the wedding, but you can't sit me with this person. Excuse me? If i wanted to know you're seating preference I would have asked.

i hate when people ask if i have any help with planning and i tell them no 'wow you're doing everything by yourself?!' - it makes me feel so insecure!
i also hate when i tell people what i've done so far 'wow you've done so much already, you must spend your whole life planning your wedding' yeah, basically, so appreciate how much work i am doing and stop harassing me!
also someone mentioned this but i HATE when people say 'that's not how [so and so] did it'
ok this is OUR wedding...not theirs! there is more than one way to skin a cat!

Things I hated hearing B4 the wedding
'You have time' - I had a 2 yr engagement 'Are you excited?' - No we are miserable and thought a wedding would cheer us up.
Things I hate hearing AFTER the wedding
'Hows newlywed life?' its terrible we hate each other that's why we got MARRIED.
'When are you having kids?'
'Do you like your new place?'
'Why did you have so many photographers at the wedding?'

OMG We get the down payment thing all the time... Or they just flat out say Buy a house instead..why would you waist all that money

'But that's not how so and so did it' - on how everything i want to do is 'untraditional'. My ideas are not untraditional, they are just not 'cookie cutter' sorry for not wanting an identical wedding to everyone who has been married before me.
OMG I know ... FMIL says it all the freakin' time because FH has two brothers who are both married ... my response is 'well, we're not them and we're doing it this way' ... but in my mind, i'm punching her in the face (can you say 'anger issues' )

UGH SOO annoying!! People asked me this from a year before my weddign up until the day before!! And the answer is NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ASSSSSSHOLE!!!! You aren't done with wedding crap till the last thank you card is mailed now get off my back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My other personal favorite was when people asked if I got my dress yet!!! I was aked this a MILLION times... starting 2 DAYS afte we got engaged!! HELLO STUPID!!!

'Ewww why is your color scheme green?!' - Seriously? Was I supposed to have given a favorite color poll for my guest to get their approval on color schemes? Last I checked this was MY wedding and I can choose whatever freakin color FH and I love. Which yes, is green!
'But why aren't you getting married in a church?'- Again, it's MY wedding and I want to get married underneath God's beautiful blue sky.
