I almost cant belive that the Red Sox will go to The World Series..its a disgrace. I cannot even say the words' The red sox are the better team' even if the Yankees were called the 'underdogs ' in the series

Go ahead and post away. In the end does it all really matter? If the Yankees win the players will just make more millions. If the Yankees lose the players will just make even more millions because the Boss is going to go nuts this off season.

I wonder why as fans we put so much into it? (And I'm not being a bitter fan, I said this before the post season even began).

Don and Dj live for this ... which is fine & dandy. Woo frikkin hoo. They can do what they want and say what they want. They know I like them as people and not for the poor taste they have in baseball teams.

As I told Don before and I'll tell the rest of the haters now .. you can say what you want and you can gloat all you want. I expect it, and you are entitled to do it based on the way this series played out. I'm sure you've been waiting your entire lives for this moment ... How nice for you all

But I won't be around to read or hear it. Once this game is over, I certainly don't need to be reminded of it ad nauseum by people whose sole purpose the next few weeks (or months) will be to bash the Yankees.

So you won't be seeing me around. Have all your fun between yourselves. Really, its not worth my time or aggravation to try to 'fight a battle' that's already been faught

I agree with Felicia....Why bash us because we stand behind our team? What is wrong with that? And I am SURELY not a bitter fan...the best team wins, simply as that and I agree with it...but I have a right to be mad, and try to talk about it without being picked on...save it...we feel bad enough ....The yank's made it VERY far, why so hateful on them because of that?

Unlike Felicia who is a better Yank fan then me, if this was the Mets vs. Atlanta, I'd be rooting for the Mets...

Thanks, Donna But actually I'm not quite that good of a Yankee fan. Even I HATE ATLANTA more than I could ever hate the METS, so in actuality I'd root for the Mets vs Atlanta in any situation

This series has broken my heart, point blank. I don't need to hear about it from everyone else on the boards too
