to not seriously maim FH

We are closing on the house tomorrow and FH has called me 7 times today. The lawyer called this morning and gave me a wierd amount for the certified check but I trust him and I'll go with it. FH doesn't like the amount, doesn't think it makes sense and refuses to get the check without knowing what its for. So I now have another message awaiting my lawyer who is in court and no one has given me a breakdown of my closing costs so we have no idea how much we need tomorrow. FH keeps calling and asking if I have heard anything yet.

WHEN I HEAR I WILL CALL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG, he needs to take a chill pill today.

Sorry to vent - I'm just slightly stressed over it and trying to have a sense of humor over it so I don't hurt him

I understand where FH is coming from - mine was the same way. Unfortunately, we never received an exact answer - so many things to break down. But if the amt. is off at all, checks will be written to you the day of the closing...

DH does that to me all the time, it gets annoying but ya gotta love em

Our closing was the same way...we didnt even get the correct totals until 12 noon...that is when we were supposed to be at the closing....so needless to say...everyone had to wait for us!!

The check is never for the exact amount. Closing costs vary and you never really know until you are sitting at the table and it is all over with. You get a final closing statement then.
