Are you suppose to give them gifts? If so, does anyone have any ideas on what we could get them?

We bought the godmother a gold locket and the godfather a sterling silver ID bracelet. Each of them got a special card.

We got the godfather 'The Godfather' DVD box set...we knew he loved those movies and the godmother got a coach bag- something she has wanted for a very long time.
And each got a corsage that day.

We got my brother a really nice godfather picture frame with Luke's pic in it and the Godfather DVD set. We got my SIL the same frame but the godmother version and a G.C. to her salon. I put something like 'You always look beautfiul to me but here's something you might enjoy'
I got the frames at the Catholic religious store.

I've been a godmother 3x too and I never got one either I want to be my own child's godmother so I can get a gift LOL LOL
Actually that's not true....I got a coffee mug that says 'I love my aunt' for my nephew's Christening 14 years ago. I still have it and cherish it.

My husband received a beautiful wooden frame that was engraved with 'Godfather,' his niece's name and the date of the baptism this weekend. I think it was a very nice gift! I know my BIL/SIL got it at www.personalcreations.com
