BF & I are leaving on a cruise tomorrow....I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it may be , but not getting my hopes up. I'm not even 100% sure he has the ring. I know he has spoken to my dad though....so keep your fingers crossed.

Well ladies I'm back & unfortunately it was NOT the proposal cruise....yet I really enjoyed myself regardless. We had a really good time & relaxed and it was great being together without work, family and outside distractions. I'm attaching a few pics....
He told me he wanted it to be a surprise and it was too expected....I know it won't be much longer.....I hope
Welcome back! It's great that you had the time to enjoy a trip together, even if it wasn't 'the trip'.
FH had bought the ring five months before proposing, and was just waiting for the right time to surprise me...

SweetCin704: My FH had the ring for 7 MONTHS before he proposed! It did happen and it was all that I had imagined and hoped for. It will happen soon and it will be amazing!!!!

Glad you had a great trip. He's right. You were suspicious on the trip. He's got to get you when you are totally unexpecting it. Try not to think about it. I'm sure he's working on a plan.

SweetCin.. OOOH I know that feeling well. My FH told me the same thing for months.. it was killing me. 'I want to get married, but I want it to be special when I ask'. Unexpected.. set the mood.. blah blah blah!
Drove me nuts. I even once told him 'Youre one of the few men in the world who knows the answer to the question, just ask already!'
Finally I started pushing hard. Saying we needed to just 'look' at rings so I could show him what I wouldnt like since i had no choice on the ring. I swear not a week afterwards he popped the ring on me. He was in the works for the ring for like 2 months. I never even realized!!!
Preaching patience is easy.. practicing it is soo hard!
