Going into the hospital in an hour..

I have to have an upper endoscopy. I had one last year and they found three stomach ulcers...the pain is back again and worse than last year..not really looking forward to it.

I hope its quick and they don't find anything more!! Also..I am STARVING!! Had to cut off all food/liquids last night and my stomach is growling!

Anways...have a great day ladies, cross your fingers that all goes well. I'm pretty sure it will, the waiting just sux!!!

I had one of those before. They put you out and you dont feel a thing...Good Luck...

I actually thought it was a fabulous procedure. They give you lidacaine (sp) that burns, then something else to knock you out and you wake up rejuvenated. i went str8 to starbuck's and then to get my marriage license afterwards.

you will be just fine, the phospo soda that clears you out before was the worst part...yucky.

Update Going into the hospital in an hour..

Thank you to everyone who wrote and wished me well :)

I am back..not too groggy anymore. They found I have erosions all through my stomach...on the upper part (antrum) and the duodenum. They are like ulcers but some are deeper, some not as bad.

They don't know why this is happening-they are testing tissue samples they took. It could be gastric ulcer disease, or just erosion from stress and taking too much advil. Not normal for a 26 year old woman!! But at least now I know...I feel a little better :)
