Hi All! I'm new to this! I got engaged in December and we're finally starting to look at places. Problem is we have a huge list (mostly his side). Does anyone know on average the going rates for Fri evening or Sat afternoon? And has anyone been to The Swan Club in Roslyn Harbor? I called and checked pricing and it was decent, but I really want to book the Watermill!!!!

It depend on the season and the month.
I would say you may be able to get a place for $75-100 per head.
PS - I know how you feel about the large list. Ours somehow got up to 288! Yikes!

Swan Club shld be arnd $65-90 for that time of year and times Have you check the North Ritz Club? They may be $70-95 for that time of year and time

Thanks! Our list is at 250 right now! It's nuts! I've already checked 3 places and they all seem to be around the $90 mark, except the Swam Club. I was going to check it out this week and see how it is.

its on jericho Turnpike in Syosset
GORGEOUS place, one wedding at a time, amazing food and it has more of an intimate setting..if thats what you're looking for. Def check them out, pricing is reasonable!

my sis got married at Swan Club and it was beautiful too! their prices are reasonable.

P.S. The North Ritz Website does them no justice. so many renovations - just 2 wks ago they completed a new entrance - just amazing!!! YOU HAVE TO SEE IT IN PERSON!!! THEIR WEBSITE STINKS!!!

Totally agree!!! Those pictures are from like years ago...i think i have slightly more updated ones in my albums if you want to take a look!!!

The beginning seemed to be the worst! But once you get a tentitve number, find and place and coordinate it with your ceremony location BOOK IT AND you can chill for a few. But def. take a lot of deep breaths and roll with it! WE're all here for you!!!

The Swan club quoted me $70 pp for their basic package (which included alot!), and $90 for their platinum package (which looked great) for a Sunday night in July. I believe that Sat. afternoon had the same price as Sunday night. I thought that was very reasonable for 'season'. November is not considered their prime season, so it would probably be less. Its a beautiful place, definitely worth checking out. They do multiple weddings at a time.

That sounds pretty good considering it is July. I called and they said $65-70 for a Fri night and $60 for a Sat afternoon in Nov. They didn't mention packages though. I'm def gonna check it out. Haven't seen anything better than the Watermill though, just too much $ for over 200 ppl in Nov!
