Re: Going to a wedding at Giorgio's tomorrow...

OK, here's my review!!

First of all, I've been there for some company parties and dinner, but I'd never been there for a wedding.

There was more food at the cocktail hour than at any buffet wedding I've ever been to and everything that I had was DELICIOUS. The only thing was, there were 143 guests at this wedding and the tables at the cocktail hour were alittle tight, so I'm not sure how they'd work a wedding of 200. There was a piano player for the cocktail hour, which was perfect.

The reception room was beautiful, but FREEZING. There were people at my table that were putting their napkins on their shoulders to keep warm . There was a fruit cup, which was great, followed by a really good ceasar salad. THere were 4 entree choices. I got the Chateau Briand and it was very good, but they said that it's all cooked medium rare and it was pretty rare, so I ate around the edges and left the middles. Their DJ was Tommy's Tunes, who was great. They had everyone up on the dance floor and played a great mix of music. I know the bride was alittle upset because Giorgio's said they don't put the cake topper on the cake until it's time to cut the cake, so the cake is sitting out on display the whole time, but without a topper. There were 2 flavors of cake, but I had the black forest part...chocolate cake with cherry filling. It was very good, but very sweet. (and I LOVE sweet stuff, but it was alittle too sweet).

The service was great. They even came around with seconds for anyone that wanted them. For anyone getting married there, I think you've made a great choice. It was definately a beautiful place!!!

Hope this helps
