going to lillettes today after much failure at davids bridal yesterday lol

so the wedding is 8.5 months away and i hate my original dress as most of you know. its just not what im looking for. its a big poofy ballgown and i want somehting smaller like mermaid or trumpet to dance the night away in and look sexy after losing more then 40lbs. (50 more lbs to go)
any advice for lillettes?

Lillets is awsome they have alot of dresses to choose from...if you go try and see Gerri she is great very patient and she doesnt make you feel rushed I was there with her for 3 hours when I went my first time.

Why don't you go to Kleinfeld's? It sounds like you like more high-end designer dresses, and they could put you in different silhouettes in those types of dresses... I know you said you're an 18 now, I know they have samples in like, size 20, which they don't have at a lot of stores. Can't hurt to check it out?

ETA: I would still go to Lillettes, I loved them there, but figured as an additional option so you could see everything out there.

I found my dress right away at Lillettes. I had Carol and she was absoulty fantastic. They have alot of stuff to choose from and you tell them what you like and they will them.
