Visit the limousine company and view their cars.
You must make sure the cars are kept in good condition. If the are in bad shape, they may break down on the way to your wedding.
When you see the car(s) you like, get the lisence plate number of that actual car (example, if its the 1958 rolls ), then like 2 days before, go see THAT car to make sure it is dent and scratch free and clean inside AND out!
Also make sure the car is insured (dont laugh) and check the inspection sticker date. I saw a car get pulled over for a broken tail light and the cop had the car there for 1 hour giving tickets galore for inspection sticker & problems with the car, the couple was late for their wedding!

prepare a call sheet with names and all pickup/drop off addresses, times and ALTERNATE ROUTES in case of traffic or an accident, so that you can call to confirm these arrangements with the car company the day before the wedding (or on that morning). The drivers should have this information well in advance, as well as detailed directions to the ceremony and reception sites. Also, make sure that someome (MOH or BM) has a copy of the directions stashed in their pocket or purse, with an emergency contact number in case the driver gets lost.

Make sure you get EVERYTHING IN WRITING!!! I can not stress this enough. Wether it be a balloon release or whatever!
Make sure the actual car you want is on the contract, including what the drivers will be wearing, if they include an aisle runner etc.

If you end up in court disputing your limo driver, the judge will say is 'Where is your contract?' Make certain there is a written contract and that everything you expect of them is in writing. If they refuse or give you nothing but a bunch of verbal claims, get up and leave. Do you think they will remember 10 months from now what they promised you?
You want the contract to state the type of limousine, how many it seats, and what package you chose. The contract must also state how long you have the limousine for. This is very important.

Overtime:
Be prepared for this. Ask ahead. Ask what they charge for overtime. Keep CC on file for overtime!!

Try your best to pay by credit card, not cash, this way if you run into overtime, they won't bug you for cash or throw you out of the car, lol like Dxxxx Limo did!!!! Your credit card will be onfile and they can charge your card the overtime.

Questions to ask them:

How do they charge? By hour? How much is gratuity? If so does the driver get this? I have seen companies say 20% gratuity on your bill and the driver also looks for a cash tip at your wedding, so you are tipping twice. If you feel the driver did really well and want to tip more thats ok but make sure the 20% gratuity they charge goes to him and not the company!

How many cars in their fleet and how many weddings they do in a day?? (Important!)

Do they provide liquor/champagne?
Is there an charge if you or your friends drink more than a certain amount? Is there a drink limit per person? (I saw buses with bars/bartenders on them and they said 2 drinks per person).

Ask who your driver will be and if you can meet him and to put that in writing also.
