Going To See My Florist On Thursday And I Need Help! UPDATE!

Hi girls. I need your help once again! I am going to see my florist on Thursday. Overall, I loved everything we picked out and I'm so happy with my decisions. I have to decide on some colors for various people and I am undecided. Plus, I'd like to make a few changes to the BM bo-k's.

Here is my bo-k...it'll have some of those rhinestone things in there too...

The men will all have the bacarra rose boutinerre's... Frank will have some variagated pit in his to make him 'special'....

The Girls Bo-K. Ok, here is where I get a little wishy-washy. This is my girls' dress:

This is the bo-k we designed:

I feel like it needs something else in there that is 'purple-y' to complement the dress color... Am I crazy or no? Also, I believe that my mom wants to a pink rose corsage. Do you think that will blend well, with the girls' tulips? I didn't really want pink so I don't want it overtaking the floral scheme.

Here are the centerpieces, which I feel I need something more to spice it up. I also feel like the roses aren't displaying truly purple (as they should) because of so much pink. But i want tulips. Thoughts?

Ok leese, I love your BOK & it will look gorgeous with the rhinestones in there!!!

As for the BM bok's I agree that you need something purple to add the spice to the dress & also the entire flare...What if you added a tulip in the purple rather then pink! Or add an undertone like a yellow (deep) to make for the contrast??

Mom having pink is not going to look bad or be too much at all!!! It will compliment & bring back some flare!

I think your CP's need a little touch up! You need to add something in there to tie into the BM's bok! I like the colors but I think you need some more!!! Maybe some purples or pale pink???

You can add some colors from my CP's like the light yellow or pink

I was thinking of changing out the pink tulip for a more purple tulip...a light purple tulip.

I'm nervous about taking out any 'lighter' color b/c it will make it look drab!

I'm going to print out your picture!

I think you should change the pink tulip for a light purple tulip, and stick to the two colors you have - the dark red/black roses and the light purple, and that will blend very well.

I think you need an even balance of the light & dark colors so that it compliments one another..Changing the tulip to a purple one is a good idea

i also love this look too...the big flower is a dahlia, but i just love how rich these flowers look...

thanks for the advice ladies.... i knew i was going to end up tweaking some stuff!

bumping to say THANKS girls. i went last night and all went well.

we did end up changing to a light purplish tulip that matches the BM dress well.

my mom and FMIL (through the telephone) picked out what flowers they want. my new motto is 'let them have what they want'.....it's a good way to live with two weeks to go!

U should add some purple to the BM's Bok's it will give it a more dramatic effect. Use purpe and red to create that deep contrast and u are good to do.
