Going to the Church and....

Tomorrow my FH and I are meeting with our hopefully soon to be priest. I made a mini list of questions to ask him but I was wondering if any ladies have any specific questions they feel I should add onto my list of questions. Thanks a bunch in advance

Ask about Pre-Cana classes and if its included in the price. Talk about church readings/ ceremony music and when all of that should be handled. Ask about if flowers are allowed in the church as some aren't allowed to have them.

Well, this is coming from the one who has been a bit picky about her Mass... it's the most important thing to me about the whole day! i had a lot of questions----this is what i asked, some of it may not apply to you:

Can I bring in an outside priest? (Usually yes, they work with you on that)
can I bring in outside musicians? (Usually yes, but you still may be responsible for paying the musicians from the church as they rely on the extra income from weddings---ask about that)
Can you provide me with altar servers/or if applicable, can i bring in children from my family/friends that are servers? (only for full Mass)
Can I bring in flowers? Can I take them with me if I want or do they stay in the church?
Can I decorate the pews?
Can I have an aisle runner?
What are your rules re: photography, videography, etc.
Can I stay (before or after) to take pictures?
What can be 'thrown' on the church steps? (Some churches do not allow petals or rice)
When can I meet with/ how do i contact the organist and/or cantor? (If this applys to you, i did not need theirs...)
Can I schedule my rehearsal with you now? if not, how do and with whom do i do that?
When will we meet again to finalize everything before the wedding?? (usually a month before, you don't have to schedule that date when you first meet with him)
What is the requried donation and when is that due? (usually at the rehearsal) is the musicians cost included in the donation? at some churches it is, some it's an extra fee.

ASK about pre-cana: in-parish and diocesan wide options.... and cost. also, by when it needs to be completed.

Also, ask for the Together for Life book if they dont' give it to you. has some readings and other things in there to help you plan your wedding.
