any suggestions? recommendations? never owned one, dont wanna spend a ton.....
go with the big 3 - olympus, nikon or canon. These companies ONLY do photography research - they don't have other divisions that do tv's, etc...so ALL of their money goes into making cameras better...so you will always get a better camera with them...

Thanks for all the advice , think i nearly drove the clerk crazy asking him to show me everything, there were definitely some i liked better but I had to stick to a budget... We ended up getting a Kodak EasyshareM753. We played with it all night and so far I love it!
