in order to cancel an RH, a person can't just call and say its cancelled. You have to call, cancel it and then they will call you request letters and then you have to go in and sign papers so its not that easy for ppl to do that. Same with vendors, they cant just call and the vendor will just say ok then bye have a nice life. Theres more things a person would have to do.
Congrats though, you should be very excited

Congrats on booking your hall!!!! That is soo exciting now the real planning starts!!!
And I don't want to say don't worry at all...but it isn't that likely that people will call the hall. There had been a case on LIW a while back where a girl said someone tried to cancel vendors on her but in the end we all found out it was the girls own doing..she made several names on here and attacked herself and also she was the one who supposedly tried to cancel her own vendors.
There are alot of girls on here that have the name of their halls and other vendors I wouldn't worry too much about it ....but it is always good to take precautions!!!

your right...even when i changed the date i had to come in sign a release form for my first date and then change the information on their contract and then they gave me a form to sign stating my new date/time/etc and put that with my old contract it isnt that easy just as you said denise!!

some people don't because they are afraid. I wouldn't worry about RH getting cancelled bc you cant just call and cancel and thats it, they need you to sign papers and do other things in order for this to happen. Many people set up passwords with their vendors in case this happens, so the vendor can ask for the password. Always be cautious when youre online but dont get too worried

Espo, we are going Saturday. We decided to postpone Kleinfields though because I want to start off looking at cheaper dresses and work my way up, rather than starting at the top and working my way down.

You shouldnt be scared to post your vendors... in fact you get so much awesome information from the girls on this site...they are so helpful and truthful you should talk to your fh about it

Congrats on booking your rh. I do think people tend to be over paranoid and there is not a chance in hellll someone can call and cancel your vendors. This site is great because so many of us share our most exciting moments with each othere. If everyone was so worried this site wouldn't exist. I understand if you feel strongly about this but just given you some insight
