Good News

I just wanted to share with you guys that I got my proofs on Tuesday. They were actually ready on Saturday but we did not connect because of the rain. They came out absolutely wonderful. I am so pleased and it only took him 2 weeks to get them to me. I called in my Thank You photo today and he said that I will have them by next weekend. I was so stressed about getting out my thank you's and I had nothing to worry about after all. I will have them mailed within a month of my wedding. Also for the record now that I got my proofs back I am so glad that I invested the extra money in hiring the makeup artist. My makeup and skin looks flawless in the photo's!! Just wanted to share my good news with you guys!!

I'm so glad your turned out great. I thinking about booking Janet Bari to do my makeup for my wedding. I was wondering how your wedding day experience with her turned out? I went for the trial run and thought she was great, but just wanted to make sure she's the same on the big day.

Deidre, rest assured that everything was smooth with Janet Bari!! My wedding was at 10am, which meant that the photographer was coming to my house at 7:30am. So Janet came at 5:30am to do myself, my Mom and my Matron of Honor (my sister-in-law). She was right on time!! actually a little early and even called at 4am to give me peace of mind and let me know that she was awake and on her way!! I am sure that you will be pleased with her services, and you will be even happier that you decided to use her once you get your pictures back!! let me know how it goes. Good luck

Jamelle, I know you were married at the Floral Terrace. Did you take all of your pictures inside or did you go to a studio or some other location? We are STILL trying to pick a place and where to take pictures at Floral Terrace has been on my mind. PS> Thanks for staying in touch here even though your wedding is over (that must be both sad and happy to think about!)

Actually we did our pictures at the Floral Terrace, the Garden Room was absolutely lovely. At first I concerned about people watching us take our photos, but the staff at Floral terrace was very good about ushering the people right up stairs to the cocktail hour....
