Thats a fair quote I told fh when he was having budget issues to go find something cheaper and he couldnt so he let it go with budgets!

I showed him other quotes that I got from photographers and he was like =O

yes, my poor man was CLUELESS!

everything is good now!
photobooth are my favors and we are going forward with our plans =)

I definitely agree with SoonwBeMrsMango! I would be very upset with FH if he went behind my back on anything (even not wedding related)

but that's a great quote to include a photobooth! also do you have a big guest list? I found that 1 photographer was enough for our small wedding of 140 and our photographer was also confident in this. we also are going to make our own albums because I know with all the great websites out there that we can DIY for much cheaper. I've worked in wedding photography before, so for me, having them charge us for albums etc. was not an option. maybe you could change up the contract a bit to meet your FHs expectations.

A lot of people really don't have any idea how much everything costs! FHs family would be surprised too if we told them how much everything is costing.

That is a great price! Our photo and video is costing us $7,500 for 2 photographers all day and the videographers. This doesn't include the photobooth price but it does include the albums, parents albums, thank you cards, etc.

Photo/video is and should be one of the biggest splurges of your wedding!

You could always compromise & hold off on the photo booth (for now) & add it later to stay within budget until you have a better idea how much all the other things will cost. Right now we don't have video in our budget (but, I'm sure I will add it later after I made sure I'm not under budgeting).
Photography is most important to me & entertainment is his. With that said, we are paying $5k (with a discount) for 1 photographer & an assistant all day. That doesn't include albums or anything but he's soo amazing that I just HAD to have him. Besides you have these pictures forever :)
