my cousin had it at danfords, and it was very nice. Also can check out the three village inn....
if you're looking for a more casual/intimate environment, maybe marios in setauket on 25A?
there's also a new restuarant in port jeff, I think it's called Rufo's.... it is similar in size to marios...

I like Mario's on 25A in Setauket...
I havent been there in a while, but I loved it! Great italian food, and a room that is big enough for a RD

I think Marios has changed ownership, we wanted to have it there but there menu changed and go more expensive.
Instead we're having ours a Casa Piccolo on North Country Rd in Miller Place, it has great food and a nice atmosphere.

I am in love with the Garden Grill in Smithtown. It should be able to hold the amount of people you are having. GL w/ ur search.

Depends on the atmosphere your looking for...
John Harvard's has a private room-its very casual but good food! (right by the mall)
La Casa-(used to be Intermezzo) its new right on the corner of 347and 25A-I think the upstairs is for private parties. I had dinner there and the food is great and reasonably priced.
Garden Grill-always good!
Pasta Pasta-not sure if there is a private room and its probably pricy!

I know the area very well! Mario's is changing ownership and is closed for renovations. Will reopen at some point though.
The place in Port Jeff is Ruvo. It used to be the Printer's Devil. The food is AMAZING!!!! They also have a private room that should work for you. The menu may be a tad expensive.
We are doing ours at the Three Village Inn... that's always a good standby for my family.
Garden Grill is wonderful in Smithtown.... All good suggestions!
