I am not too familiar with East Northport restaurants but here are some good places nearby

Commack

Red Dish -- more of a bistro but cute spot
Ciao Baby -- loud, big, family style Italian, great food

Huntington

Cafe Buenos Aires -- Argentinian rest.
Piccolo (pricey but amazing)
Osteria Di Toscana (awesome awesome awesome)
34 New Street -- casual but fun

Try Menufrog.com, you can search for restaurants by town

i went to an RD at the Bonwit Inn in Commack. It was really nice. the food was great.

Also, I recommend Orlando's in Commack on Commack Road. It's a really nice place.

Youd think living in commack i might know a few more places. lol sorry!

i second Osteria Di Toscano in Huntington is u want somethng a little further east Mill Pond Inn in Centerport is a great location

in northport theres mill pond, bistro 44, intermezzo, ritz cafe, crestwood restaurant

We're probably going to do ours at Piccola Bussola in Huntington on jericho near the Woodbury border, or maybe even Ruvo right in Greenlawn village, my new church twin!
