Got a lot done today!

So in addition to getting my semi-annual shearing, I actually got some wedding stuff done!

Went to Michael's and got two baskets to put our ribbon wands in, a picture frame for our signature drink menu, and a frame and easel for our baby pictures in our ethnic costumes which we're going to have on our place card table. I need to badger my sister, aka my graphic artist to print all these things for me lol.

Then, we went to Old Navy, and I caved and bought my day of hoodie and sweatpants set! Now I just need to get it embroidered, and I hope that stand is still in the Smithaven Mall, because I didn't see it last week.

And what day wouldn't be complete with some drama lol. Shiz is going down over my shower because my sister sent an email asking for the guest list from FH's side, and said she needed the adult women, and yes, it was emboldened, and FMIL was like what does that mean adult? Um, it means no kids. So she's a little miffed now, and her own mother and sister needed to explain that children generally do not go to showers, and now my mom is bent because she didnt want there to be drama yet she doesnt want to pay for kids either, and ugh. I just don't comprehend why it's necessary for 10 year old third cousins to come to showers and weddings!

I have no idea why it would be drama to not invite children to a SHOWER. It's just inappropriate ... the only time I have seen kids at a shower was the bride's two nieces who were about two years old ... but they had nowhere else to go because mom and the entire family were at the shower. So that was understandable.

Anyway ... sorry you are having dramz ... nothing is ever easy, is it?

It was a total of 30...15 for the hoodie and 15 for the pants....sometimes the hoodies are on sale for 10, but I never am near Old Navy so I just bit the bullet and got it. That's blank pricing though, I still need to find a reasonable embroidery place!
