We also book our own., maybe the reason why its so cheap is b/c we got our flights with our miles., but in general he did a good job. He shops around.....i dont have patience for that

its like the other poster said..its once in a lifetime...FH and I were debating on going also,..but we figured once we have kids we are sure as H3LL not gonna go there with kids...so we might as well do it now..and never go there again..LOL

you can definitely find a better price! ours was WAY less expensive (even with the money we spent while we were there!) .... keep looking around if you have your heart set on going. it really is the trip of a lifetime!

We went for 10 days and it was less than $14k!!! ANDDD we paid for breakfast and dinner when we booked our honeymoon (less out of pocket money to spend while there, and it turned out to be cheaper this way!!), and two excursions.
DEFINITELY shop around. We stayed 5 days in a garden bungalow in Moorea at the Sheraton and 5 days in an Overwater bungalow at the Intercontinental in Bora Bora. We booked through Tom Varghese ([email protected]) - I'd highly recommend him to see what other prices you can get.
And it really is worth the money. For us it was a once in a lifetime trip and we wouldn't change it!

I'm not surprised you got a quote that high but I i think could do a trip like that for less. My FH and I got quoted 10,000 for the two of us for 10 nights in tahiti at this great resort. If you really want to go there I would shop around. the company was unforgettable honeymoons. You can google that. They worked really well with us. We chose not to book it cause we couldn't handle the long flight but they worked around our budget. We got pictures and it was great....good luck!

I'm not sure if food is included, but that price is only for 1 person flying from LA, not NY and is only garanteed till March. Still waiting for September prices to come out, then I'll call them.
