Got My Dress!!!

Hey Ladies, I haven't written in a while, but I had to come on and tell everyone that I finally got my dress!!! I will post pics as soon as I put them on the computer. What an adventure this has been. I went to 9-10 different bridal stores and must have tried on 40 different dresses. I couldn't find anything that I loved or anything that felt like 'the dress.' I was getting so frustrated! Did anyone else have a similiar experience???? I feel like I keep hearing and reading about girls that say 'I tried one dress on and it was the one.' I had such a different experience. It was soo stressful.

Well, I am glad that it is finally over and I have a dress that I absolutely love. Just wanted to share my story and see if anyone went through something similar???

I hear ya sister!!!! I am the same way!! I've been to so many dress shops and tried on sooooo many dresses....I just can't find 'the one'...I thought I did a few months ago, but I don't think so now. I guess it'll work out eventually...

I'm happy for you though!! I'm glad you were able to make up your mind!!

Thanks! Even though it was stressful, in the end it absolutely worked out. But there were times I thought I would be walking down the aisle in jeans.

Good luck on your search, I am sure you are going to find a dress you love, don't settle and try to stay calm!

I didn't cry either. I was in shock lol. I tried on 3 all together. And it was the 2nd one I picked. Congrats! It's so exciting!

Anyone who hasn't found their dress, search online first...this will kind of save you the hassle of trying on so many dresses. I found the dress I wanted online...called a bunch of stores and found a few that had it as a sample in their store. So, I went there...tried it on, and LOVED IT!!! Correct, not every bride finds something online, tries it on, and it actually looks good on her...but it beats trying on 100's of heavy dresses. ;)

Congrats!!!!!! Dress shopping is an experience. some find the one right away while others take a little more time.

I didn't cry either, but I just couldn't get that darn smile off my face! I wanted to twirl around in it but there were people watching! (I think ever since I was little, I did the 'twirl' test!) LOL

I was lucky enough to find my dress quickly (the 3rd one) but my girlfriend tried on 38, went to place her order and tried on another 2! And my FSIL told me she must've tried on nearly 100...now that's gotta be stressful!
