the other night FH made a comment and said everything out of my mouth is wedding related. I was really hurt by this and I still can't seem to let it go. I try not to let this wedding consume me but let's be for real IT'S MY FIRST AND GOD WILLING ONLY WEDDING EVER! Not only that but I work alot and my job can be very stressful. All the planning has been left to me so this is actually a fun outlet from work for me... I don't really have friends anymore because i got sick of being used and I don't go out anywhere so its basically work, chores and wedding planning for me.
I told FH that it's easy for him to say that because he can up and go play softball on sunday while I have to go to church and take my chatechism, I have to book all these vendors on my free time, i have to do all the research. OF COURSE EVERYTHING OUT OF MY MOUTH IS WEDDING RELATED! it's all I have thats exciting to me right now.
I'm paying the mortgage so his job is to pay for the wedding. He has 3 paychecks he has yet to deposit into the wedding account and I told him weeks ago we need $1200 to book sherwood, we need $3something to order invites and another $100ish for save the dates...I have recieved money for none of this.
sorry for the long post...just needed to vent

my fh is so annoying about the planning. i start to talk about it or something i want to do and he's never in the mood to go over it. Its crazy and i yelled at him last weekend. I made him promise to do stuff this weekend. I only see him on the weekends so its hard for me and i am so excited to talk and he shoots me down sometimes ahhhhh

I'm sorry..don't let it get to you.....i don't think men share the same emotion and feeling we do about the wedding..my fh doesn't care about doing anything wedding related (planning wise) hes more concerned about being married to the love of his life. your fh probably feels the same way

My FH never complained about talking about the wedding all the time...but i do feel your pain. He is very aloof about the wedding planning & wants very little involvement.
I have come to realize that is not just my FH but men in general are not into planning a wedding.. yes it is their wedding too & they should show some excitement. i refuse to let it get to me anymore.. i rather share it with people that can share in my excitement (BP, mothers etc.) & refuse to let my FH rain on my parade... i can't expect him to get excited about flowers or invitations..
