Gotta LOVE the Yankee Fans!!

They win ONE game after their 200 million dollar payroll gets swept badly, and all of a sudden they've 'turned it around' and want to jump on us and call us losers.

1. It's one game
2. They beat THE DEVIL RAYS!!!

All I can say is this: let's see where things stand after the All-Star break .. THEN perhaps we can compare notes and see how each other's respective teams are doing

For crissakes people, it's APRIL - in the big scheme of things, these games mean NOTHING.

PS: Sorry to invade the 'Mets board' .. but I have to defend the fine Yankee fans on these boards when I see outright abuse. And besides, I noticed that when I wasn't around yesterday the Yankee board was abused and 'invaded' by the same lame culprit , no less

The biggest thing that the Yankee fans still do not realize yet... is that Jarret Wright *****.

If anyone knows pitching... the Braves know pitching. They let Wright walk. Why? Because he is overrated.

He let a team like Tampa Bay walk all over him. It was a good thing the Yankees scored 15 (or whatever they scored) runs.

Helll... look who the Braves let go. Glavine. (I don't blame them at this point). Maddux. Seemed OK in Chicago... but definitely beatable now.


The famed Yankee staff that everyone was
predicting would get them a WS... is far from what they expected.


Johnson - Not the 2.5 ERA pitcher he was in Arizona
Mussina - average pitcher at best.. very inconsistent
Pavano - One year hit wonder
Wright - no comment
Brown - career done

And I am even surprised with their bullpen... i thought it would actually do something this year.

Rivera - Beatable / mentally owned by the Sox
Gordon - this year's goat
Rodriguez - I thought he would do well... but not getting it done
Quantrill - don't know much about him
Stanton - might do OK... might not
Sturtze - good pitcher... but now on DL

If you are going to spend all of your time on the Mets board, bogging it down with rants about why the Yankees stink (in your opinion).. well then, feel free. I would *think* most of the Mets fans would rather talk about the METS, wouldn't you?

I rather not waste valuable space on the Yankees board talking AT LENGTH about all that is right or wrong with the Mets - see the thing is that I DO NOT CARE what the Mets are doing - truly I don't. I care about how MY team is doing.

BUT if my team is getting attacked, well of COURSE I'm going to retaliate. But I never purposely seek out trouble at the expense of the Mets or their fans.

And with that, I'm out

and the YES channel is the worst. They exaggerate every play that the yankees make, cuz every play is amazing. Tampa Bay is what a last team place??? oh so they didn't play a team that it's first place???


As for the yankee fans calling us loosers, well you can say we suck all you want, I guessyou need to say it so it can help you forget (as if you could) the biggest choke in sports history, when you lost to Boston in the playoffs after a 3-0 lead in the series.

That's all I have to say about it...I'd rather talk about the Mets...talking about the yankees is just a waste of my time.

Me personally... i like to talk about BASEBALL. I don't stick to just one team.

I'll talk about the Yanks cause right now... they are entertaining to talk about. When that changes... i'll probably talk about somebody else.

I agree...I'm sick and tired of the same silliness with Met and Yankee fans....We each have our own boards for a reason.....
