Grammys

Anyone watch the grammys??? I hate that girl! Well i dont hate her but that song stinks! I love eminem...he didnt win anything..but omg is he hot!!!!!!! And nsync's tribute to the beegees was awesome...imo. Any other opinions?

I think the whole show ****ed completely and it's a total disgrace. With the exception of Bruce Springsteen and NSync's performance....everyone else was BLECH.

I can't even believe I said NSync in the same breath as Springsteen, but they were really good!

Thank God that little troll Avril Lavigne didn't win....what a farce!!

Yeah I agree, it totally s ucked! I was so excited to see it and I ended up not even watching the whole thing.

NO ONE sings good live except for springsteen and nysync...and of course paul simon. Such a disappointment!

I watched the 1st hour then watched OZ series finale. And cught the last 45 min. I did tape it I didn't want to miss N'SYNC. From what I saw I loved:
Simon & Garfunkel-Very Good!!
Dixie Chicks-I love them!
Elvis Costello, Bruce Springsteen, Dave Grohl & Lil' Stevie.-SO GREAT!!!!
And I was siked to see Cyndi Lauper

I like Norah Jones so I was glad to see her win!

Eminem did win!

I do have to say WHAT WAS UP W/ ARETHA'S DRESS??? For a filthy rich woman she can NOT dress!!!! Doesn't she have people that work for her to tell her 'Do not buy that??'

And though I LOVE Faith Hill those sleeves did not belong on that dress!!!

I'm going to watch the rest later. I'm sure I will have more comments!

Irish Tracy - Joan Rivers or not, those sleeves really DID NOT belong on that dress!!!
Fortunately for Faith Hill, she's so beautiful even the sleeves can't take away IMO.

I love Norah Jones (she's my cure for road rage) so I'm happy she won. But I can never watch any of these award shows straight through - I had to watch Oz too!

I was thinking it was the lights & the glimmer from her dress. At least when she was singing. I didn't see her before that.

Did anyone notice when Avirl did her performance the cameras were only showing her from the back because she had opened up her coat to show a message (you could kinda see the letters when she took off the jacket) I wonder what it said?? But the funny thing is that whatever it said the censors probably would not approve of so they would not show it, the showed her from the back and she had a picture of a hand sticking its middle finger up on the back of the jacket...I don't know why I notice such stupid details. I liked teh dixie chicks performance but when they won I wanted to shoot them! I thought James Taylor and Simon and Garfunkel were great too. No doubts performace was good, I did not think it was up to par though. Other than that I can't really remember anything else.

I thought John Mayer and James Taylor were awesome. And I must say that MSG looked amazine!!! Of course, I'm a little biased, FH worked for 2 weeks straight on it. Can't wait for him to come home.

OMG! What happened to the days when the Grammy's were actually worth watching?! They were a total disgrace-I totally agree-

Aretha Franklin looked like the ice princess--poor thing!

The Dixie Chicks bother me--i'll leave it @ that!

InSync was really good-I thought they broke up though? i'm so confused! LOL

I really like Vanessa Carlton, but I think she sounded kinda not so good live.

Avril Lavigne is the biggest joke!!! I HATE HER!!! The last chick to be like that was Fiona Apple who dissapeared into the world of WHO????

James Taylor, to me, has one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard. His voice is like honey and it totally soothes me. It reminds me of being little and happy.

I MISSED the NSYNC BeeGees thing, which makes me mad b/c that was the one part I was waiting for (I fell asleep)! Norah Jones is amazing, Avril is indeed a troll, Gwen rocked, love John Mayer, Bruce is Bruce (in a good way) and could have done without Eminem and his stupid a$$ posse - he annoys the holy living crap out of me. GET A PERSONALITY ALREADY. It' s like he uses up every ounce of personality he has in his songs. In person he is such a monotone dud and WHY does he bring 15 irrelevant people onstage with him everytime he accepts an award? Is his ego THAT BIG?

I just love, love Norah Jones, her talent blows away many other popular singers/songwriters, I think she's a real musician and artist, not just a 'pop' singer. I'm really happy she won so many awards, I thought she was cute and very humble when she accepted her awards. I also pretty happy about her winning because she's Indian (okay, so I'm a little bias!)

I was kind of surprised that Eminem did not win album of the year, since his music is so HUGE.

I love John Mayer too, and his performance was great!!

Ok I watched what I missed!!!

I can tell you that the Bee Gees tribute was GREAT!! I didn't know Barry & Robin were going to be there. I could not stop crying!!!

The moron Averil's inside coat said 'Rock On' isn't she just sooooooooo cool!!

Bruce was awesome!!
