Grandma's Secret Stuffing Recipe!!
Ok, I am going to share my Grandmas fabulous stuffing recipe with everyone. I just made it and it is sooo yummy, I thought I'd share!!2 loaves of white bread, cut into cubes and cut the top piece of crust off
1 whole onion minced really well
2-4 celery sticks minced really really good
1 stick of butter
1 pound ground pork
2 cans of chicken broth
melt the butter in a frying pan and add the onion and celery. Saute for a few minutes and add the ground pork. Brown pork and pour in about a can of chicken broth. Pour the entire mixture onto the cubed bread and mix well, pour in more broth as needed to make the stuffing really moist.(It should be more moist if it is going into the turkey.)
Taste it, and add salt and pepper as needed. Do not add too much salt, as there is plenty in the chicken broth. I actually buy the less sodium broth. And thats all folks!! Yummy stuffing.
Oh, here is the secret addition by my father that gives it an even better taste..Add about a table spoon of Oyster sauce (its a chinese sauce) It gives it a great flavor and you really don't see or know its in their.
Leftover stuffing that does not go into the turkey should be put into a pan and placed in the oven to brown the top.
Ladies, this is sooo yummy. Very fattening, But soooooooo yummy. Enjoy!!
ETA- you can add more or less onion and celery. Its all about what you like, if you love em, add more, not crazy about them add less. This is a flexible recipe and tastes great no matter what!!

Re: Grandma's Secret Stuffing Recipe!!
Yes!! It is still very yummy without them. actually my dad and grandma always made it both ways one tray with pork and another without. The oyster sauce can totally be omitted. That was an extra added in a few years ago, but not necessary!!
